Radial, Inc. seeks Manager, Solutions Engineering in King of Prussia, PA.

Job Duties:Develop technically detailed and commercially feasible responses to RFPs (Requests For Proposal) and contract renewals for Radial’s e-commerce clients. Lead and deliver engineering solutions presentations to different client stakeholders, including executives and site operators, communicating complex supply chain solutions. Deliver innovative designs for new engineering contracts and renewal opportunities that enable Radial to profitably grow its business. Solutions Design: Model fulfillment and distribution processes, including, but not limited to, process flows for all functional areas, MHE requirements, capital investment, productivity rates for direct labor functions, headcount estimation, space requirements, and storage media, working closely with the fulfillment systems team to help define WMS and WCS requirements. Teamwork: Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to deliver innovative engineering solutions that maximize customer value and reach Radial’s profitability goals. Innovation and Automation: Collaborate with internal Innovation Team and external Solutions Integrators to drive new automated solutions for e-commerce. Tools Development: Develop internal tools and best practices to standardize and optimize the solutions engineering process. Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of the modeling process to continue to learn from post-launch deal model reviews. The position requires travel up to 20-25%, within the US or Canada, for site tours and/or client meetings/presentations to support a client request or a business need. This travel includes visiting a Radial Fulfillment Center, a Client Fulfillment Center/Client Office or a Trade Show within the Logistics/Supply Chain Industry. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology or closely related quantitative discipline plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of Supply Chain Solutions, Solutions Engineering, industrial engineering, 3PL (third party logistics) or related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

• Experience with engineering in a distribution, fulfillment, 3PL environment

• Software skills in AutoCAD to design automated and non-automated fulfilment centers

• Data analysis skills in MS Excel and Access

• Data analysis skills in Power BI

• Develop engineering tools for data analysis

• Respond to Request for Proposal (RFP) from potential clients by designing optimal engineering solutions for warehousing and fulfillment

• Develop engineering solutions with advanced warehousing robotics and automation technologies

• Communication and presentation skills with internal and external customers

• Experience in 3PL (third party logistics) companies within solutions design, solutions engineering teams

• Interpret operational needs and translate them into engineering requirements for warehousing

• Work on multiple projects at the same time while managing time and priorities
